REGULATOR INSTALLATION GUIDE THIS GUIDE IS FOR NEW REGULATORS MANUFACTURED BY NINJA PAINTBALL ONLY. Remove the plastic cap, if installed, and inspect the regulator body stem 5/8-18 threads which screw into the bottle, to ensure no damage has been caused due to shipping. If any damage has occurred do not install the regulator and contact Ninja Paintball. • Inspect the threads in the cylinder and ensure that they are not damaged. Remove any debris from the threads. • Check the threads with a 5/8-18 UNF-2B go/no go gauge.
WARNING: INSTALLING THE INCORRECT
REGULATOR ON THE INCORRECT BOTTLE MAY LEAD TO INJURY OR DEATH. • THE PRESSURE RATING OF BOTH THE REGULATOR AND THE CYLINDER MUST BE THE SAME. • THE NINJA 3000 PSI & 4500 PSI REGULATORS ARE MARKED AS SUCH NEXT TO THE FILL NIPPLE. (See figure 1 and 2) • THE 3000 PSI REGULATOR CAN BE INSTALLED ON A 3000 PSI RATED BOTTLE ONLY. (See figure 1) • THE 4500 PSI REGULATOR CAN BE INSTALLED ON A 4500 PSI BOTTLE ONLY. (See figure 2) • DO NOT LUBE THE 5/8-18 REGULATOR THREAD SEALING O-RING! • Using no tools, screw the regulator into the cylinder slowly and feel for any obstructions. The regulator should thread/turn in very easy. • If the regulator or valve becomes difficult to turn then stop and remove the regulator. • Inspect and clean the cylinder and regulator threads. • If the regulator does not screw in easily after cleaning the threads , do not use the cylinder DO NOT INSTALL THE REGULATOR damage may have occurred to the regulator and/or bottle threads. • Check to ensure that the regulator is fully seated into the cylinder and there is no gap at the bottle neck, see figure 1 and 2.

• Once the regulator is fully installed into the cylinder by hand, torque/tighten the regulator onto the cylinder. DO NOT EXCEED 40 FOOT POUNDS. • WE RECOMMEND USING THE NINJA REGULATOR INSTALLATION TOOL AVAILABLE ONLINE FROM NUMEROUS NINJA DEALERS. * PRO V3 REGULATOR ASSEMBLY TOOL
